Just a quick note to say that as of this morning, the owners of Reid Rains and Your Move announced the closure of 43 of their branches stating difficult trading conditions. 

The shock announcement will see 43 branches closed with the loss of several hundred jobs, 40 sold off to franchisees and 81 merged together to create larger ‘keystone’ branches, reducing Your Move and Reeds Rains’ overall high street presence from 404 to 280.

Until now Your Move has claimed to be the ‘largest estate agent in the UK’, but the restructure is likely to put this claim in jeopardy.

It goes to show that again, local independent agents that have a local presence and are responsive to all requirements, are winning the day!!! Use your local agent, they are local, attentive and im pretty sure their maintenance centres are not in Glasgow or Cardiff!!!!
