So the summer has passed and we are now moving swiftly in to Autumn. With the changing of the seasons it is normal in the Eastbourne market to see a rush by tenants to secure a property and be comfortably in for Christmas.
Elite has seen its busiest three months ever with Rightmove showing us consistently int he top 5 of Letting agents in Eastbourne and more often than not in the top 3. This has been down to a number of factors.
We have seen an influx of new properties with new Landlords over the last couple of months. This is largely due to other agents increasing their rates to beyond 12% with many added and hidden charges rolled in.
We have been proactive in ensuring that rent reviews are carried out on all properties where the market suggests to make sure that Landlords are receiving the correct rental and that tenants feel that they are not paying over the odds at the same time.
Our maintenance is second to none in that we are and will continue to react immediately to all maintenance issues whilst offering best value and clarity to our Landlords.
We are an independently owned company and as such, all of our maintenance and marketing is handled right here at our central Eastbourne office. This means that all Elite staff are up to date on the portfolio, what is available, matching tenants to the properties and making sure that no corners are cut on vetting and suitability.

Iv'e mentioned it three times in one sentence and that's more than enough! The housing market is stuttering in terms of sales and with interest rates offering the same return as potatoes, we are seeing Landlords increasing rather than decreasing their portfolios in Eastbourne and the surrounds. That combined with the amazing regeneration of Eastbourne and the influx from Brighton and the surrounds, it is safe to day that the rental market in Eastbourne looks set to be buoyant for some time to come.
